The NP-EI-500 (94439) Navigator NP Series Protection Blocks are designed to prevent frequent burnout of halogen and incandescent lamps and extend their life. Moreover the protection units are designed for joint operation with incandescent and halogen lamps at 220 V and 12 V. However the device protects the lamps from power surges and provides a smooth heating of the filament during power-ups. Therefore which significantly slows down the process of wear of the filament.
